Q: What is a Sojourn weekend?
A: Sojourn is a weekend retreat that provides an opportunity to pray,
share the sacraments, join in Christian fellowship and listen
to talks based on today's challenges faced by Catholic young adults.
Q: Who should go on a Sojourn?
A: Single adults between the ages of 18-39, including those who are
divorced, widowed, or never married. Non-Catholics, especially
those in Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA), are encouraged
to attend.
Q: How long is the Sojourn Retreat?
A: Sojourn begins with a check-in on Friday evening at 7 p.m. and
ends on Sunday at approximately 2 p.m. Candidates must make a
commitment to attend the entire weekend.
Q: Where does Sojourn take place?
A: Sojourn is held at the Spiritual Life Center, 7100 E 45th Street
North, in Wichita.
Q: How do I apply to be a candidate on a Sojourn weekend?
A: Submit a completed application and the $25 nonrefundable deposit
to the Office of Youth and & Young Adult Ministries. A letter
of confirmation and a list of what to bring will be mailed to
your prior to the weekend, or fill out the online application.
The remaining $50 is due when you arrive for the weekend.
