Welcome to the Web site of the Catholic Diocese of Wichita, Kansas. Our diocese was established on August 2, 1887. The diocese covers 20,021 square miles which includes the 25 counties in the southeast corner of the state, and is home to 120,527 Catholics in 92 parishes.
