“Love and Logic” Parenting Skills Class

The successful six-part series “Becoming a Love & Logic Parent” is being offered again by the Diocese of Wichita Office of Family Life and Natural Family Planning in collaboration with St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School.

 “Love and Logic” teaches parents and educators skills that cultivate confidence and good decision-making in children by offering them choices, empathy, and respect while avoiding anger, threats, warnings, or lectures. The classes include instruction by Marceline Arnold and Annette Clutter, educators from St. Anne Catholic School in Wichita. Both are certified Love and Logic teachers. Humorous video presentation and practical question & answer periods will also be included in this six-part educational series.

Classes will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (645 N. 119 th St. W. in Wichita) for six consecutive Tuesdays starting on September 2 and running until October 7. Fireproof the Movie

The movie Fireproof will be in Wichita theatres on September 26 th. The Office of Family Life had a special pre-screening of the movie and highly recommends it to all adult movie-goers.

37th Annual Diocesan Wedding Anniversary Mass

Holy Mass at 3 p.m. will be celebrated by Most Reverend Michael O. Jackels at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. A reception hosted by the diocesan Office of Family Life and Natural Family Planning will follow in the Cathedral gymnasium.
